The ASK
First off, let me say... I love fun creative dance proposals. This took some prep work but still easy. And it was fun to receive!
Into the shower the giant ice cube went. She made pretty quick work of melting it. And now the bag of Sour Patch Kids made sense. "You would be a Cool Kid if you came to HoCo with me."
The ANSWER
I wanted to keep with the chilly theme of the giant frozen proposal. So we softened a carton of strawberry ice cream. Dumped it into a bowl when it reached the stage of soft on the outside but still mostly solid. (so, not quite to the softness that usually happens to me when I set ice cream out and forget about it - don't wait that long!) It slipped right out and kept its form.
Next she put her note in a ziplock bag and placed it at the bottom of the carton.
She tipped the carton over the ice cream while it was still in the bowl and then dumped the whole bowl over and the ice cream went right back into the carton. Pretty slick! She did a little damage control around the edges and then it was good as new and put back in the freezer to harden up before taking it over.
Now that the creative part is done - its time to shop for a dress. (I would much rather come up with a creative answer than dress shop!)
