Whether you have a student who doesn't turn their schoolwork in - OR - you have a student who loves to be totally on the ball (one can dream), this homework tracker will help. This was designed for my own child who was struggling with anxiety and was not turning school work in. We started a tracker to make sure they didn't get further behind. Found ourselves using it again with the next kiddo who was just lazy about turning work in.
They had to have teacher signatures each week before video gaming could happen - you know what I'm getting at!! Really that only applied to the boy in the house. My anxiety kid just needed some accountability because anxiety kept her from asking for help. It worked great for both of them and kept me from nagging every day. We would just do a weekly check. Student signatures were ideal during those junior high years.
It is designed for an AB schedule, where half the classes are one day and the other half are the next day. I encourage a tracker for all students, whether this one or a different one. Give it try. Their teachers will thank you!
